Global Fapes was created from an institutional commitment to strengthen the integration of the state of Espírito Santo into the global Science, Technology, and Innovation (ST&I) ecosystem.

Internationalization is one of Fapes’ strategic pillars. We understand that connecting with international networks expands the impact of scientific research, drives innovation, attracts investment, promotes talent exchange, and creates new opportunities for researchers, institutions, companies, and startups from Espírito Santo.

Our team works transversally to open pathways for international engagement and to foster strategic partnerships aligned with the interests and objectives of the Government of the State of Espírito Santo. We also support the design and implementation of internationalization programs and missions for startups and innovation environments. Our efforts aim to connect Espírito Santo with funding agencies, multilateral organizations, universities, research centers, innovation hubs, and global markets.
